Is it making kind of a popping sound? My coupe did that. It was actually a bracket/clip that the windshield rests on. They replaced mine under warantee. Not sure if yours is the same issue.

Nice car! Congrats.

Yep..Pretty much. Sounds like that could be it. Now to describe it to the service dept and hopefully they can recreate it. Thanks for the reply!

Recreating with the service dept can be a pain in the butt. If it's happening when you arrive then make a tech take a ride with you. When I dropped mine off the other week and made complaints of squeaking via the gauge cluster I didn't have time to take a tech on a ride. When they drove it, no squeak. When I got back there the next day to take them for a ride, no squeak.

so, with warranty almost gone I will end up dealing with it happening from time to time.

Yep..I know the drill. I've really never had good luck with any dealer for service. Either they try to weasel out of warranty work, do crappy work, or say they can't recreate the issue. I bought a Volvo for the wife last year and they have been awesome for service. As of now, it seems to happen more when I'm on the highway and I hit a dip in the road or a slight bump. I'll wait until my next service interval to bring it up. Thanks all for the comments and advice! Pics will come soon.

As for mods, it seems that the 5/16 plenum spacer is a great first mod. Will probably be doing that later this Summer. :)

Well, it looks like the G I bought was already used as a family car.

Was putting in all weather mats and pushed my hand on the drivers side rear seat. When I did I found a blown out seam in the cushion just below the slot for the LATCH anchors. Not to mention red and blue Play Doh. You couldn't see it unless you push on the seat cushion. That better be covered. My warranty doesn't expire until October. Plus I have that dash issue over the gauge cluster. OH the joys of buying used...

It will be ok, kiddo. Don't stress over it. Enjoy your car. You will get it all fixed right. :)

I know....Just frustrating...

It's funny you call me kiddo. I'm usually the elder in my circle of friends and call everyone kiddo or youngin'. :)
