$115 shipped. Yeah I know it's plastic but the intake NEVER gets hot enough to melt plastic (Example: engine cover)

What about the claims of gaining 2mpg? true? anyone with an intake spacer (any brand or price) gain MPG after install?

In all honesty, I would never buy performance products out there like this off ebay, unless its a design that is sold by most automotive vendors that are name brand. I have never head of this company or type of plenum spacer. I have a plenum spacer on my G and it cost way more than $115.00, new. If you really want a spacer and they do work, I recommend the motordyne 5/16 spacer. There is that old saying, you get what you pay for and at that price it can't be that great. I don't know if I gained any mpg, but I did gain horsepower.

On a side note, there item description doesn't mention what size spacer that is? 1/2" is the biggest spacer needed, the most practical is 5/16. I have read that these are advertised as 3/4". But this particular auction doesn't say what the size of spacer is.

Agreed. Go with the Motordyne spacer. Most everyone on here has a spacer and has gone with the motordyne.

Reputable companies are always a MUST

Hey Kenrik I know you are coming from the 240 world. But you have to buy sometimes from the names. I agree sometimes you can get away with noname. Just think this way. There is planty of temperature change. Some plastic after several moths of hardcore temperature change start cracking. It can happen with this one also. This is just one thing. There is more cons then pros for this. There is a reason why the motordyne offer different spacers for different locations(temperature).

I wouldn't buy it.

Ehhh.. now I understand that for something like a turbo/underdrive pully/oilpan it's important to get a name brand, but this is just a chunk of plastic? (metal for the motordyne) and furthermore it is not exposed to excessive heat or forces.

Now for example, on my 240SX I used a real HKS SSQV BOV, but the flange was a $10 ebay knockoff.. works perfect! Same with the intercooler I paid $100 shipped for nice big high quality intercooler (XS Power, Ebay) and it works perfect. My exhaust is a Apexi Dual N1 knockoff from SSAC that I got for $200 shipped. I have had it on the car for more then a year with no problems and no rusting (the real Apexi is known to rust since it's not SS)

My point is this, with parts that have a high probability of failing and that if they do fail can blow your motor EX: Turbo, BOV, Oilpan etc.. I say go name brand, but this is just a spacer?

Anyway I did some searching and from what I can tell the company is the same as Skunk2 and is known in the Honda/Acura community.

Hehe just wait until you see my ebay intake..

It certainly is exposed to large temperature changes. You can buy cheap plastic that will break easily or you can buy expensive plastic that won't...example: all the $1 crap toys at Wal Mart all break within 5 minutes.

Now, I would tend to agree with the general concencus here, but In my own experiences as well, have opted to substitute OEM with Ebay upgrades on my 94 altima... here's a list 100% Ebay products, all basically all bolt on, and I still have her turning over on the first crank, with over 300km on the car!!

prices are approx as I forget most everything in my life.

Nismo Exhaust $70 + shipping / installationIntake $40 shippedDistributor - $100 ish shippedFuel filter $25 ishMAF resistor / Chip $7 shipped9mm racing wires $75Euro Dark Crome tailights $125 ish shipped.1.5 f capacitor $35 shipped

With all these ebay products... the only thing I ever had problems with is the tailights, one was cracked in shipping and it leaked some water in... and the capacitor, which I don't even want to get into

Use your intuition, check sellers feedback if the same product sold to several G35 / Z owners with all good comments, you can put more faith in the no- name brands...

Also, if anyone is reading this... I would be happy to rice up my Altima, install myself etc... but my G35???? no way! I'm dynoing my intake system pre install and post for comparison... My baby gets the best!

QUALITY ALL THE WAY!!! IMO
