My RH is going in for more surgery. The Cam I had installed wasnt enough...
I'm having the PDM 404.H cam spec ground into mine, a few thousand more taken off the head... along with the Towers being dropped .030".
The good part...
While its apart, It's getting the exhuast valve diameters increased! My machinist did loads of work on Ford 2.0 and 2.3 heads back in the day and has extensive experience with racing 4 cylinders and is sure my engine will really respond very well to it... He is going to go through some parts books and see what is available that my head can be made to fit.
DAMN I'm excited.
I'll let you guys know how it goes. The only thing I see being an issue is the stock ECU. With the exhaust flowing faster, with the hotshot and duration on the cam, it should void the cylinder faster and with the overlap, I should get a decent increase.
