Anyone tried having a driveshaft rebuilt at a driveline shop?

Just wondering - If I read the parts books & FSM correctly, I can't get replacement joints from Nissan, or a new CSB for the early cars (I don't need one, but while I have it apart...)

The CSB seems to be available aftermarket, but I'm wondering about the joints. I'd be willing to bet they're the same as other Nissan products, but I'm hesitant to change them myself.

Anyone tried this?

The joints are integral with the shaft....

Id get an aftermarket shaft from powertrain industries, theres a few posts dealing wiht this..... Search for posts by user "91QAZ" or myabe its AZ91Q. I cant remember, but power train industries as well as this other place sells them with replaceable joints.

Or get one used from one of our nice parts cars!
