Anyone transporting Kayaks with their Infiniti?

After moving to Florida ive discovered I love kayaking but I have no idea how to transport a kayak with my M37X WITHOUT scratching the roof.

I was gonna buy a modular kayak from temu but after more research I dont think the pieces will fit in my trunk.

Now im looking at a foam block kit that sits ontop of the roof.

Any roof rack systems that WONT scratch your car and are removable when not in use?

I'd rather not waste $8-10,000 on a second car i dont need just to transport kayaks.

You could always add a hitch and just get a small rack or trailer?
