Anyone thought about...

Has anyone ever thought about taking the nissan badge off their car and putting a different emblem on? something unique and to make it your own? I have wanted to for a while just something else to make my versa different from the rest. My favorite band is HIM the band most of you have probably seen bam margera flaunting around like he owns them. I myself don't like bam think he's an immature idiot. i explain this because i dont want people thinking the heartagram is bam related in any way cause it's not. anyways the bands music/lyrics mean something to me and i myself have a heartagram tatted on my wrist to show my love for the band. I've wanted to put that love of the music into my car and get a heartagram as my cars badge instead of the regular nissan symbol. I wouldn't even know the 1st step in where to get something like this done but it is something that I have thought about and would like to get done sometime. Anyone else ever thought about doing something like this?

Something could always be done if you wanted to. Had a friend who filled the gaps in his Kia's emblem with an orange resin polymer of some sort, then implanted small LED lights in it, so he could flip a switch in the car and there would be a faint orange glow with a darked-out KIA in the middle.

It's all a matter of how much time/effort you want to put into it.

I think it would be neat to replace the Nissan badges with "Datsun" logos... I bought a set of Datsun decals for my 2004 Frontier, looks sharp.

go for it dude..make sure it doesnt look like you just bent a coat hanger a couple of times though...if you do it post some pics, it sounds pretty cool...just know theres always gonna be someone talking smack about it...jerks. and also you hit bam right on the head, nice.

It might be cool if you custom made fiberglass, kevlar or carbon fibre body panles for it, or some major cosmetic or performance modification this is obvious ot all who see the car that justifies you placing your name or a custom logo on it, like a Stillen or Shelby.

Now placing a Renault logo on it might be intersting. There's a lot of French nationals living in the town I'm in. They probably do a double take and get a good laugh out of it. I've had a one comment saying that it looks like a French car when I first bought it.

LOL !I thought about leaving it as ARSE (since it is the BACK of my Versa...) but in the end I suppressed that idea since I felt it would detract from my theme... ;oD
