Google Nissan GTR start button. There is a DIY video for a G37 same procedure for the M. If you ask me the M is easier than the G. Good luck with the mod if you can call it that..

Yeah, as stated it does fit. Open up the panel, unplug the ignition harness from the push button, swap the button, reconnect the harness, and put the panel back. Done

Saw the DIY video and very helpful. Thanks guys. New mod happening soon. If anyone is interested on eBay there selling them 40 something but if you have any one working at shops you can pick them up at a dealership for 31.99 or even cheaper depending on your Hookups

Am I the only one who thinks the stock button looks better than the GTR one?

Only reason I'm really considering it is because the lettering on my stock white is wearing out.

I'd like to see to see a picture of it installed on the M, a few feet back to see how it fits in with the rest of the dash.

I have an 07 and the video for the g37 is not applicable. there is no easy access to the back of the switch. you will have to drop the shroud that covers the lower steering wheel housing and the pull out the button.

Seems a long way to go just change the button.

If anyone has done this to an M I would be surprised if it was easy and if it could be done with out any damage to some very important plastic tabs (the ones that keep things from rattling).

If you have a video that shows the M re and re, please post it, maybe I am missing something.

Take a small flat head screw drive and pop the switch out.. My opinion I like the original one better. But that's just me..

Okay, now that make sense. Agreed on the appeal of the original vs the GTR

Personally I don't think the red on the GTR button flows with the rest of our interiors but that's just my opinion.
