The other night I smoked a Bolivar Fuerte. Yea, I know, you ain't interested in that. However, the next morning, I smoked a Chevy SSR Sport Truck... you know the one: V8, sounds like a Corvette. Built for speed. Dude had the top down, blasting Nickelback's "Rockstar." I roll up next to him at the light. He actually looked at the G35s, smirked, and turned away. Oh no he did-ant! I quietly reached down and turned off the VDC. Pop goes the light, pop goes the clutch on the G-ride. I couldn't really hear my engine because his was roaring so loud... albeit from at least a carlength BEHIND me after first gear was done. Then I hit second with a pleasant squeal from the Bridgestones. By the time that was complete, he was at least three carlengths behind me and no longer a "Rockstar." Not long into third before I was satisfied (and going entirely too fast for the road we were on.) He whipped in and out of some traffic a little way down the road and passed me with his head down, and his proverbial tail between his legs. Mmmmm, nothing quite as refreshing as consuming a V8!

Anyone else have an interesting smoke lately? Oh, yea, a week earlier I devoured an Acura TL. But that doesn't even count does it?

I hate those trucks, ugliest things I've ever seen. It sounds like a vette because if I'm not mistaken, there's an ls1 under the hideous body work somewhere.

It was an LS1 till some year it went to the LS2. I gave up trying to keep up with which LS is in what car.

My LT1 sounds a lot better.

That "THING" weighs in at 1400 lbs more than your sedan...

And if it was pre-2005 it only put down 300 ponies.

the LS2 has it rated at 400 ponies.

Lots of fun to piss off some douche in an ugly truck (I must admit that I once found them attractive ). Not really amazing considering the specs.

I beat my buddy's 05 Titan pretty bad. He has a full exhaust, CAI, and the Stillen ECU chip. I really thought he would've had me straight up. We did two races : one with a 30MPH rolling start, and the other, at a stoplight.
