anyone see the northern lights tonight??

i was out playing street hockey with my buds tonight and it was crazy, last time i saw them i was prolly in 8th grade. there was like cascades of green and red it was awesome. heres a sample pic

i dunno, i wonder whats the furthest south that they can be seen, i know you arent that much more south

I think I'm directly 6 hours east of you. Maybe I just wasn't out at the right time but I didn't see it. Auroras are wicked cool. I live on top of a ridge/mountain so I usually see wicke sunsets and sunrises but I dunno...

Me and my buddy saw them tonight when we were driving back to school. They were pretty awesome.

when I was living in northern Maine we saw them on a weekly basis in the winter months. although... they were never as grand as the picture you posted.

I did see them here in Vermont once last year and it was the most spectacular occurance of northern lights I've ever seen. The entire sky turned into a dome of red/orange/green lights dancing for about 2 hours. It was INSANE!! Made me wish I did drugs!

I looked and didn't see them. I guess to much lights from the city. Its pretty cold outside too.

i saw them up in canada, its one of the neatest things ive seen in my life!

did you know the exact same light show happens in the southern sky too, everything is the same, its a mirror image

I'm in kansas and watching them! Wow i have never seen them before! freaky and they're changing colors and theres like pulsing things!
