anyone seal their moonroof?

got a 91 240SX with a bad moonroof seal...I thought about replacing the seal, but I haven't really opened the moonroof in a couple of years, so I figure just sealing it would be cheaper and easier...anyone done it? anyone recommend a substance with which to do it?

Car: '89 240SX, done up with a chrome-plated ground wire to the engine.

I have a friend who siliconed his shut, he just use regular gasket silicone sealant. He didn't have any problems (it cut down on the squeeks too).
