I've been looking to get a different intake for a while now. I need a new air filter for my stock box anyways. I saw on eBay these MAF adapters that allow you to just bolt up a 'short ram' filter to the stock piping. I don't care too much for Performance...mostly Sound and MPG's. Anyone running this setup please let me know if your Gas mileage or performance increased and if you ran into any issues.

Thanks alot!

Yeah I was reading up on this when i was looking to remove my intake resonator. I believe he just zip tied it to a wiring loom close to where air would flowing by. If anyone can give more info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

nope, no improvement in MPGs.

if you get any, it MIGHT be .5-1 mile more per gallon. biggest things you'll notice is obvious sound and improved throttle response. that's pretty much it and i've got the JWT POP charger.

A hint is in the manual, max torque vs. max HP. and how often do you drive at that max HP range as compared to the torque range. The torque is developed in a speed range that is common but the speed to develop the HP will be an ongoing battle with speeding tickets.

WOT sucks in fuel and air, it is noisy because of the close to 15:1 ratio of air.

Show me a car/truck with HP and torque and 100 mpg, then you have something and yes it is possible
