Tom do you still have that spare Apexi headgasket? 1.1 mm, 86mm bore? I would be interested in it if you still do.

Baller... I feel really poor now :/

But anywho is it a t25 turbo flange for the bottom mount. I think it would be to restivtive for exhaust flow. Meaning you won't reach potential power.

3071R-WG would be a bad idea IMO. 2871R .86 is already restrictive enough let alone trying to use the T2 Turbine Housing with the GT30 Wheel. Also the internal gate may cause some problems with boost creep. Also the 3071R-WG is gonna be pretty laggy. I cant really see an advantage of having a laggy restrictive turbo. Just defeats the purpose of trying to make more power. But if your hell bent on doing it, the 3071R-WG fits with the 3" Compressor Inlet. The T04S housing may hit the engine mount.

it does hit the engbine mount, but only by about a 1/4 of an inch, very very easy to grind down, cant wait to have this thing boostin

I went with this instead GT2871R Garrett Part Numbers 743347-2 446179-32

Turbine-Wheel: 53.85mm w/ 76 trim-Housing: .64 ar

Compressor-Wheel: 71mm w/ 56 trim-Housing: .60 ar

i wouldn't use the 2871, a 3071 or 3076 ext wg, can get a log mani and be good with that, anything over 400hp you should look into the bottom end unless you already have

other than that you should be good

The tomei B8446 can get you 450 maybe but thats the most on a bottom mount you can get, BTW B8446 is the GT3076-WFG

The problem with bottom mount is the exhaust flow. Between the T2 flange size and the turbine housings, its just not allowing enough flow to make alot of power. It also effects the spool too. So i say if your going for a 400+hp setup, go Top Mount T3 all the way. GT3071R .63 can get to 450whp fairly easy. If you really want to stay T2, just get a GT2871R.

A 3071R is by no means Going Big. lol. Step up to something similar to what i have. GT37R or DBB T3/T67. Thats more or less, going big.

Also, stock internals can be reliable at 500whp as long as the tuner knows what the hells he doing. User error blows motors more so then the parts just reaching there limits.

^ Its all good, hey what about boost creep, I checked cody's thread on the GT2871R, I know to a certain extent it's the BC and then WG may cause it, but why would you's creep at .9 and then hold steady. I need to get a new EBC as well looking at HKS or BLITZ, never looked at the Apexi, no looking at Greddy

How do u like the Apexi ?
