Ok I have been searching but its been a little unclear, I know horsepower levels the Ball Bearing S14 T28 should handle about 260-280whp with that being said has anyone with street tires run in the 11's?

I just made a 12.8 pass with a 2.2 60ft on a untuned S14 swap (15psi) in my S13 (2510lbs). I assume tuning and a hefty drag radial should weild my goal of 11 seconds...my goal is a 11.99999999 on street tires stock motor.

Any beasts?

In just a few more weeks im going to get my little project complete and tuned. Ill be going to the strip not too long after that so I'll tell you. I have an s13 sr. My mods are s14 or s15 auto turbo... not sure which, bc 264 stage 1 cams, dw 550cc injectors, greddy vspl IC, toda flywheel, enjuku 1 pc drive shaft, z32 maf, apexi SAFC(getting tuned). Thats the basics. Hoping for good numbers

11's are pretty rough, the other thing is you will only run 11's once before it costs you well over 2k to be able to do it again

reason i say that is, well you will have to get a NHRA cert cage, belts, helmet, suit...ect

the saftey equipment cost goes up HUGE once you put your car in the 11s

id be happy with 12's

well thats the catch i just need to do it once! I just feel that everone has been under rating BPUs with traction. I have a T4 with a top mount setup waiting to go on but I keep thinking all i want is 1 11sec time slip and i will be done with drag...moving on to the drift world...

Not without slicks, and even then it's won't be easy....

not in a street class drag race. of course you have to use street legal tires then to do it. i thin i will run a low 11 in my car when it is done.

ive seen that its a pretty easy accomplishment with about 360-380whp no problem. most SR's I have seen with the HP were running 11.40's-11.20's on street tires at 120+ mph. I was just trying to do it without even taking the valve cover or the stock turbo off...I also understand that at 18psi and a huge MT Street tire behind me it would be asking to blow something up

Stock weight S13, takes around 400whp to reach around 120-121mph. This is good enough for a low 11 pass with a crazy 60 ft. Best trap speed ive seen from a T28 is about 112mph and 300whp. I think the best you will get is a 12.1 with like a 1.6 60ft.

1.6 on street tires? Thats quick. 12.1 on street tires? No way. You need a 115-117 MPH trap for that.

1 Bar of Boost on T28 got me a 13.01 @ 110 on 195s. I would say the best on a T28 is 12.5 AT BEST on street tires, unless the chassis is stripped.

Drag Radials/Slicks might yield a 11.9999 MAYBE.

What you do is trip the lights when it goes green. Wait a second or two and then trap 127 MPH with a ET of 13.2 :D.

i trapped 110 on a t28 on 9 lbs. so i think 113-115 on high boost can be done with good cams and full bolt ons.

Yea i hit 113 on a 12.83 pss on 195s...2.2 60ft...it didnt spin too much so I am thinking on a set of radials maybe 1.8 and on 18psi up top maybe it will yield 260ish whp. I think it can be done....

I didnt say it would be done on street tires. Just said what 60ft it takes to be done. Wanna be picky, you can get DOT approved slicks which fall in the category of a street tire.
