I picked up a HKS F-Con V Gen 2, and was wondering if anyone here has any familiarity with it. ie. how to tune it, what are it's limitations.

Biggest limitation is it can ONLY be tunes by an HKS dealer. There is no software available to the public on the unit. Other than that it is a great piggyback for fuel and ignition tuning.

yeah they are usually pretty cheap used because no one tunes them. HKS is gay and they make people sell their **** for the rights to the tuning software. So i think they have to sell a minimum of like $10K of HKS products otherwise they get penalized. plus they have to rent the card for like a $100 a month. GAY huh.

But their is ghetto tuning software out there for it. i don't know where it is but i do know its out there.

Ummm, youre saying HKS is stupid and gay.

Ive talked personally to an HKS F-Con Pro, SAFC, APexi PowerFC and AEM certified tuner.

He said HKS is the BEST and easiest in his opinion to tune a car.

I think it is awesome that HKS does that. Keeps a good reputation for their product. Nothing is half assed. Everything is dont "right".
