I got a slow leak in the right side rear tire in my OEM (BS Potenza). They are finished anyways so I was looking for 2 new rear tires and came across the Falken 452. Anyone try these? I searched and didn't find much info on this forum.

So far all the reviews I have come across have been pretty positive but when I go to 1010 tires and select tire by vehicle, they never come up! I know they sell them as you can browse by brand. Are they not recommended for our G ? I have a contact in Canada that will sell me them for a very good price...

I couldn't compare to Tirerack as they don't sell them.

Thanks for everyone's help

i'm rolling on the FK452's. I love them way more than the stock Bridges...very awesome. I got the 255's for the rear since they don't make a 245/40 for it. I highly reccomend them as they grip soooo much better than the stockers in every type of weather and they're much quieter

Go with some 255 35 19 General Exclaims. They are great tires and will give you 30k miles with hard rubber burning driving... You will get 45k if you drive like a grandma

According to the original posters signature he is in Quebec. Tire Rack recommends the Exclaims not be driven in "near freezing temperatures". I don't know the climate of Quebec real well but just at a guess the Exclaims would be not recommended for up to 6 months of the year. Maybe you have to use snow tires up there half the year but I doubt it especially if you live in an urban area.

I've had these on my car for over a year and no trouble. The grip really well and perform nicely in the wet.

You are right, we do get freezing weather here, but our summers are also nice so we get a little of everything. Since last winter, snow tires are now required by law. Any tire you guys can use in the states, we can use here for the spring/summer/fall

It sucks that we have to get 2 sets of tires, but they last 2 times longer!

No comments on the Kumho`s ?
