I don't mind it at all. To me you just kinda use to set it and that's about all, can use brake and gas for canceling or acceling.DeXteR wrote:that location doesn't seem to user friendly
it's nice that it's hidden, but seems like a pain to actually reach under the steering column to set and adjust your speed. but obviously, biggie, you're using it - so how is it?
I plan on doing the same later on. I don't really have any use for it.AZhitman wrote:I relocated mine....

I do, so quit derailing my thread.topless94 wrote:I plan on doing the same later on. I don't really have any use for it.
The OD light isn't needed, since you can see/feel the button to know if its on/off. Hopefully she isn't that 'driving-challenged".ishkabibble wrote:That would be a bit dangerous, but could lead to a pretty unique throttle control setup.
As much as I despise the AT (not so much for the fact that it's an AT, but that it shifts poorly), I need to leave it in unless/until my gf gets a car. I might be able to rewire the OD light to an LED on the left side of the dash (there's already one there from a former alarm system). I don't want her driving the car without an OD light... I can just imagine what would happen.
A lil write up would be nice if you don't mind . Where did you splice the wires coming from the steering column? Looks NEAT imho.biggie wrote:Put mine under the steering column, had to use the little piece of wood to keep it from sinking in too much. Just cut the wires, rerouted, and solder back together with the connector still in place.
No comment.biggie wrote:The OD light isn't needed, since you can see/feel the button to know if its on/off. Hopefully she isn't that 'driving-challenged".
That's my issue with my Vert, still trying to figure out what's wrong with it.daconkiftador wrote:and I dont think my CC has ever worked since I bought the car either.
