Hi Folks:

I'm thinking of getting my windows tinted. Had that done on my 330i and it made a big difference. I had it done in Frederick though which is a little far. Do any of you MD based folks know of a good place in the area? Also, I'm probably going to go with 3M film again. Are there dealers out there who don't need to completely take the car for apart in order to do this? What should I be watching out for?

My friend owns a shop in Laurel, MD. Its a little drive from Gaithersburg but he does really good work. Its called Solar Solutions. Let me know if you want the #. He did my g35 and Im happy with it.

Yeah, I'm in G'burg as well. Please let me know if you find a good tint shop. Just bought my G35x this afternoon.

Thanks guys. I'd really prefer to stick to something in Rockville or Gaithersburg if possible, but if I don't find something here, I will consider going to Laurel for it. Anyone else know of a good place in Rockville?

I know of a place called Executive Tint (301.279.5788). They are located on East Gude. I have had a couple of my friends go there, and my brother too, and they are all very happy with the results. The owners name is Linh.

Check out these guys. http://www.drivendynamics.com/I had my G35 tinted by them. A pic of my ride is in their gallery. They did a great job and they use a plotter to cut the tint.
