What age group do you want to answer that? The 30 plus crowd will probably all tell you that you are wasting you money. The younger crowd, I don't know.

Neons are teh rice.

I probably thought they were cool a couple years ago (damn you F&F), but seriously, you car will loose so much class if you put neons on it. Save up for some nice wheels if you want to make it look better then your friends' cars. A set of HIDs and nice wheels will make your car look like it's at least newer than 2000. That's my opinion, anyway.

I got the LED multi color ones when I was 16 and actually liked them alot. The older I got the less I turned them on but if thats something you're interested in then I would go with the LED's over the neon ones. I had these plus blue strobes in the front and back of my J. So every now and then I'd pull over my friends/family with the red white and blue flashing underlights n strobes,(very illegal!) or just turn on the playboy pink for the ladies... lol ya I know looking back now that may seem pretty retarded but it was fun, I got a lot of compliments, and it appealed to my age group. but yes it is VERY RICE and I wouldn't be caught dead with them on my Acura CLs. sorry for the rant.

Perfect logic.

In the end, you're going to get what you want to get anyway.

-- Ugh. Don't do it. Well maybe if you had a hot pink jeep wrangler, no seriously, save up for rims, otherwise leave well enough alone. Also, the factory projectors on yhe J are effin sweet, I wouldn't feel it necessary to fool with them. Now go study for your driver's liscense test, j/k. Is it true that there's more rules to getting one now?

Then I can take drivers ed at school, and apply for my junior license, which i can drive by myself till around 9:00 PM, then I get my senior license when im 17, and can drive anywear (excpet new york city)

-- Yeah that's what I meant by more rules, that sux. When I got mine, which was only ten years ago, you could take a written test to get a permit at 15 & 1/2, which required an adult to be in the car w/ you, no time restrictions. Then when you were 16, if you passed the test you were completely legal to drive anywhere alone, and curfew was never enforced unless you were on foot. My first liscence was a flimsy paper one, I'm pretty sure it said 120lbs. lol. BTW--Thats just plain weird about not being able to drive into NYC.

Yeah dude, you're focusing too much on adding something to your car, it's going to end up looking like you just threw a bunch of **** on there with no planning. Plan your mods carefully, save up money, get nice, classy looking stuff, and be proud of it.

Think less Fast & Furious and more...Grey Poupon? I dunno. Something like that.

-- Unless your wheel is tore up, why buy a cover? As far as rims, don't go too big, 17s or 18s tops.

Because the cover looks better then worn out faded leather........ Its just new leather over old leather. Also, I was going to go with 19's. Why is the max 18?

-- Yes, but does it feel better? It's just my preference but I dont like the feel of something inbetween the steering wheel and my greasy mitt. Bigger than 18 inch rims and you are in 'I'm trying too hard/wannabe baller' territory. I think the beltline on the J is too low to look right with anything over an 18".

Plus it will ride like crap, tires will cost more, transmission will wear quicker, acceleration will be slower, mpg will suffer, etc.

That's what I love about the J30t wheels, they only weigh like 12 lbs each.
