Anyone rebuilt rear calipers?

Got my rear calipers powder coated and now I'm trying to rebuild them. Its not going well so far.

I've got to compress the ebrake return spring INSIDE of the piston in order to seat a snap ring.

If anyone has done it before, you'll know what I'm talking about. Can anyone give me a hand?

I've already spent more than I wanted to doing these brakes so if possible I'd like to avoid buying new calipers.

Help please!
