So as the title implies has anyone played the GRID demo or seen the game. I have to admit the drifting is addicting, the game is made by the same company who made DIRT.

YES. I wanted to make a thread about it myself, but yeah.. this game is going to be pretty awesome, aside from the fact that there are only 45 total cars, and get this: NO tuning them at ALL. ghey.

They said something about wanting the game to be more about "winning races" than "collecting cars"..

but like you said, the gameplay is VERY addicting and fastpaced. IGN gave it a 8.7/10.. we'll see come June 3rd.

Demo was lame IMO. Drifting was floaty, no feedback tying you to the car which is what drifting is all about. No customization fails in this day an age. I'll stick to my sims.

I'll agree with you, drifting is very floaty.. but at the same time it's very addicting in the sense that it's meant to be fast-paced and not so realistic. kinda like Burnout. it's not as floaty as NFS:PS, but it's floaty nonetheless. I also agree that no customization does fail. HARD.

I dunno, I may end up getting this game in the long run.. I've been completely itching for a racing game that's more of a fast paced, pick-up-and-play racer, pretty much what this game looks like it'll deliver.

I thought it was extremely floaty. Even floatier that NFS Prostreet. There was no way for me to feel how the car was behaving. I felt like i was playing Hydro Thunder. And no customization? Weak.
