here's a really old pic. i'll have to put these back on before it gets colder but this is on stock susp. i used engine enamel paint for a gunmetal look and i kinda regret it. i didnt' bother sanding down the clearcoat or anything so the paint started fading like crazy later. it wasn't even really paint, more like...powder.

i would just leave them...after this incident i started to dislike colored stock wheels.

^ah yes i forgot about those...

actually if both sides were painted black i think it would look decent.

i'll be rocking that look this winter...maybe i should paint it before i put it on.

Dupli color wheel paint after sanding works wonders and use aircraft remover for even less work took me 2 cans for all 4 wheels

hmm doesn't look bad, but I don't want it to come out looking "poser" id rather just rock the stock look if its going to look better.

if I paint i'm looking at doing all black with a red "lip" haha

I prefer the 5 spoke/se wheels over these. Either way, I say leave them how they are until you get $$$ for better wheels.

yeah, I think I may just keep them the way they are. I'm going to save over winter and perhaps next season purchase a 5 lug swap + 300zx TT wheels or pickup Sportmax 962 17x9 front/back.

i say if there ugly.. like those.. and that's my opinion.. then paint them black.... it'll look 100 times better esp. rolling... I done my SRT-4 the same way.. painted stockers FTW.. and just started on my 96 SE wheels..

Yeah huh. I have a zenki S14 with those exact honeycomb rims. Before I install the 300zx rims, I'll get my dad to paint my rims black like that (he has been a professional auto body painter for the past 30 years now). I can't wait
