My 2004 g35 sedan has the "grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" BLACK trim for the ground effect kit. My car is the Brilliant Silver color, i want to paint the black kit to match the car, i fine it will make the car seem lower and also make it look more luxury. Has anyone tackled this project yet?

I painted all my lips/skirts around the car. I like the look a lot better.

Make sure you wash it only by hand after you get it painted for at least a month as high pressure could do damage to it and you'd have to repaint.

did you paint them yourself, or did you have a shop paint it? If a shop did it, how much did that cost? Thanks!

I was planning to paint mine this month sometime, I would just do it myself to save $$... but, if a shop would do it for a few hundred I may just splurge...

Yeah, i think i would feel better if a body/paint shop did mine. The local collision center for the infiniti dealership said they can do it, but they wont be able to warranty the paint job, because those pieces arent meant to be painted.

Blah, anything can be painted.

I had my body shop guy take care of it for me.

$220 for side skirts/lips/splash guards all together
