cheap coilovers. decent bang for the buck but really cheap if you've got a wholesalers license and can get them. I've been told from my contact that he can get them for like ~400 a set.

180fan...can i get some through your contact???

also how does these coilovers compare to tein HEs?? will they take the abuse and stress that drifting puts on suspension??? the guy on ebay whos selling these is also offering all different spring rates as well as the camber plates to go with em...u think these are worth buying over the teins???

That's how much they cost directly from D2 in japan. However, you have to make an order of 30 sets or more to get them. That's what the group buy in BST is for.

These most definitely aren't cheap coilovers. It's just that we get a good deal on them now before they hit mainstream because they haven't been introduced into the American market. When every other shop is selling these, expect a price comparable to the tein he's. The msrp is about the same.

HA!... you mean Taiwan.

The only mention of D2 I've ever seen in any overseas mag was ironically in a Chinese "Option" mag.

The logo "D2" suspension uses is a stolen logo from Vodafone's D2 cellular phone service. Vodafone along with Mannheim sponsor the Mercedes DTM cars, as well as the DTM series.

Not to mention they are using Tein stickers on their cars lol.

They continue to NOT impress me.

yeah they're a good buy from the b/s/t as there's a group buy. If you don't want to go that way, I can give my contact a call about those D2's or the HE's. I got a few tein tie rods with ends for 140 and some 5zigen exhausts from the guy and he's pretty cool with me. I'll see what I can do about those D2's if you want em aside from the group buy. I'll probably be able to get you a price on them tomorrow since I've gotta call him about some work meister wheels I'm supposed to get for a few of my buddies.
