You should save the transmission controller... should bring $50-60 at some point, and it's small and easy to store. The throttle body should bring good $$ if it doesn't have TCS.

If you want to unload either of those parts cheap just to be done with it, I'll take them at pull-a-part prices, but you can do better selling them elsewhere if you take a little time with it.

Where are you located at? I am interested in the sway bars and wheels especially if you are not too far away.

Where is the controller located? I heard I should keep the fuel pump controller(dont know what this is) as well. And the TB is a non-tcs.

Didn't realize I did not have my location in my info, I located in Port Richey, Florida. I think the rear sway may be spoken for locally, but if you are interest Im taking offers on everything.

If anyone is interested, you can shoot me an email with offers to [email protected]

The TCU is located in the same location as the ECU, just on the driver's side.

Good call on the fuel pump controller. They occasionally bring about $50. It hangs under the rear deck on the passenger side, and is held in place with two bolts that go through the deck. You have to remove the back seat, and finisher with the speaker grilles. The bolts are buried under the sound deadening tar-paper like substance.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I will be sure to keep them, is there anything else that is a common fail point in Qs?

What the condition of the drivers rear ashtray? or maybe even the whole door panel? My rear ashtray cover cracked and half of it is missing so its a bad look on the door panel.

I do have the power steering line, but this car has the hydraulic suspension so I do not know if it would be different from yours.

Oh I like a TCS-less TB if such a thing existed! How is that different from say disconnecting the harness on the TCS on the regular throttle body?? :inout:

all pms replied, and I sent PMs out to a few people who posted here.

hj20000, the non-tcs TB does not use the additional bend in front of it. I dont know of any real benefit of swapping, other than maybe a cleaner look.

How is/are the knock sensor harness(es)? I will be replacing the KSs on my 95 in three weeks, during my break between summer and fall semester. I pulled one off of a '96 but have heard re-pinning might require Frankenstein engineering. Also, I REALLY don't want to pay the ~$200 dealer price. Gotta save money for books! Thanks.
