So I thought I'd buy a "cheaper" in cabin filter for my cube at o reilly...but it ended up being too big for the cube...i guess the versa has a bigger filter? I'll give it away for 20 bucks....I never installed it...I lost the receipt so I can't return it. If anyone wants it PM me or let me know on here. I'd rather have it put to good use than just sit in the car. :squint:

When my local dealer told me $30.00 for a cabin filter. :spitout: I decided to make my own out of a reusable furnace filter. Use your old filter as a pattern. Cut to size. For a $10.00 investment I can make 10, charcoal infused filters. Their washable, but at 1.00 each I throw them out after a year.

This is a "nobrainer". Bought the filter at Walmart $9.95. Home Depot or Lowes should carry something simular. Cutout your filter material to the outside measurements of your filter frame plus 1" in width. (9 1/2" X 7") This leaves a tab to pull it out.
My first thought was to glue the material into the frame. Discovered I didn't need the frame. Just slide the naked filter into the slot. :yesnod

Bread crumbs. This is for me to find my way back. I am all in on this idea. some will charge 59.99 and im all for the charcoal infused part. Keep me from inhaling excrement.
