Just wanted to know if anyone here has messed with external wastegates, especially a Turbonetics Deltagate or the HKS standard wastegates. I have heard good and bad things from the Turbonetics. I am getting a turbonetics deltagate from a friend that is running to much boost on it (23-25psi) its a Grand National. Really cheap also. :pface

The HKS wastegates are competent, but the delta gates are "iffy". if it's a race gate then go for it, but if it's really a delta gate, don't bother.

I cant say from first hand experience. Just other people saying those things are nightmares. Alot of the shops here hate delta gates.

I've had a Deltagte II on my KA-T since October last year. I haven't had any issues with it yet. I run a 3-5 psi spring (the weakest they make) and a Profec-B to set the boost to my liking (10psi so far).

Yeah i will have to do a sick rebuild. I am planning on running some good amounts of boost. I know that it can handle some serious boost(23-25psi on a GN) more than i will run just worried about spiking. Thanks for all of the input
