I have a spare KA on my patio that I have been trying to tear down and rebuild. As it sits now its nearly bare and I need to get it on an engine stand. I have a stand, I just need someone to loan me a hoist or help me get it on this stand. You bring the hoist, I will bring the beer.

Damn bro.... I live about 2 hours away in Homosassa or I would come and help but you should be able to pick up that bare block with ease. Also... I have a couple of KA24Es for sale on Ebay and also a automatic transmission for the 240. Do you know where I can find a good running Ka for sale? I would like to run a KA24DE but dont know if the computer I have with run that engine.

when is that event? Also, I tried lifting the block, ans that is a no go, the gash across my thumb and index finger says so. I was also putting 2x4 under each side one by one, but that didn't work out either, I dont recommend this method, after a certain height it is very unstable.

i live in orlando and go to UCF AND i have a hoist. if you help teach me how to rebuild a KA ( engine work etc..) and transport the hoist, i could let you use it. im not really a big beer drinker, but some Sangria would be nice. hehe.

Sorry im not in orlando but usually I just bolt the "spider part" of the engine stand to the block and lift the block to the stand, It usually takes 2 people w/or w/out accesories. hope you can find help. seriously though, if you can get at least 3 girls to help ...your the MAN!
