make sure ur comparing engine vs engine or atleast engine+tranny vs engine+tranny. unsure about vq's but unless its aluminum i doubt its lighter than ka

I have done extensive research on the engine weights and the Vq35 is a very light all-Ali engine, I stand by the 314lbs, no water or oil, but all ancilliaries on. The comparable weight for the SR20 is 305 lbs.
