anyone knows how to fix a broken ECU from s13 redtop?

Well, I beleive my ECU got shocked from a short circuit and now I cant start my car. Something inside the ECU must of got shocked so I was wondering if its done before to replace it or fix it. Thanks guys..

I tihnk probably your best bet is to get a new ECU.. unless your skilled and can find where it messed up..

My guess is it screwed up more things than just a simple circuit..... Bottom line, you need to find out what caused the short before you get another ECU and fry it toO!

A hammer might work. Try taking it an electronics place and see what they can do. I have seen my friend fix DSM ecus before but thats an involved process and it worth his time if he gets them for free.

well, I've heard "HEAVY THROTTLE" does it but I was wondering if anyone else did it them self or some local electronic shop that maybe in my town might have it.
