I saw it on this site not too long ago. I remember someone saying that it was one of their friends' cars. I am currently purchasing the car and would like to know if this dude is legit. If anyone knows this guy or the car, please post or e-mail me at [email protected]. Thank you very much. :ylsuper

Couldnt tell you if its legit or not, but i can tell you that car was in Import Tuner December 2002 page 82. I only know that cause thats one of my favorite 240s. That, and that same issue has been sitting on the back of my toilet since i bought the issue.

Article says the guys name is Chris Jex. He Started a shop called "EN Tuning," and hes done all the work himself.

Oh, and it says he lives in Garland, TX.

Hope this helps bro

You are exactly right. That is indeed Chris Jex car, he has done alot of work on that thing.

If you are trying to track him down, I know he is good friends with alot of the staff from Courtesy Nissan in Plano, TX. I'm sure you could call them to get his phone number, etc.

He was also the president of a nissan club, etc in the Dallas, TX area. You may want to try searching for his name on google. I'm sure you could find something there.

Take care!

Ok heres the story. When i first tried to call the number that the dude put up on AutoTrader (where i first saw the car), The woman that answrred said it was the wrong number and no one at that number was selling a car, nor did they even know what a Nissan 240sx was. After e-mailing the dude, he said that the car was in Rome, Italy and that after I wired him a $2000 deposit, he would ship the car to the nearest airport via air cargo. He also stated that he would pay for all shipping fees. So, me feeling skeptical, I did some searching and thanks to you guys, am not sending $2000 bucks to the shmo. :)

That is an old scam that Autotrader.com deals with!! I know somebody who works there and people get scammed on this sometimes... do you have the link and the phone number on the ad? I'll get it removed if I can

Good thing you got smart regarding this deal, here is a link to read more about the car..and it's legit owner. It is a very nice 240SX, quite the mod list.

The car is no longer on AutoTrader. He must have taken it off. This is the info he gave me, I wouldn't know who to give it to, maybe you guys know what to do with it.

Name: Sean TaylorAddress: Via di Salone 106 City: Rome 00131Country: Italy

That's where he wanted me to send him $2000 deposit. The number that he gave to call was 1-713-378-0200. The e-mail address that he was e-mailing me from is[[email protected]]

Anything anyone can do to nab this guy?

I want to say thank you to everyone who helped me on this matter. You guys saved me $2000 bucks. I really appreciate it. :ylsuper
