I have an 03 G35 sedan and just installed my new head unit, only now I'm left with the problem of finding out how to run my power wire for my amp through the fire wall. I asked the question in the G35 forum, but got no answers, so I thought I'd ask here...

Anyone done it before? How'd you get through the fire wall? And what location did you use?! Any info would be greatly appreciated as I'm stumped...

Usually there is enough room in the grommet that the hood release cable runs through to feed a power wire through.

If it's an auto you should be able to run it through where the clutch usually is. Otherwise check on the passenger side and there should be a few grommets to choose from.

Thanks for the replys. I was hoping to run it through on the passenger side but there doesn't seem to be a good location that I can see. I'll have a better look on the drivers side this weekend (my car is auto) and will hopefully be able to go through the clutch opening.

Not to sure how they did it on the G but usually you have to drill a hole there it's nice and open. Just be sure you use a grommet, don't want a fire in such a nice car!
