I seriously doubt you can find the Yashio Factory hood for under 900 dollars + shipping. Impossible I think unless you can find a knock off somewhere.... but just FYI raretrick will match importfans price.

how about you buy my old s13 hood and cut some vents in it and save yourself 800 bucks.

hhahahaha. yeah, I kinda figured I would have to pay out the nose for that hood...buts its soooo nice. and functional.

thats my major concern with vented hoods, that one is FUNCTIONAL....unlike many, many, others....

anyways, looks like its time to get out the credit card.-chetthanks for the help guys.

Im sure that the reason the price of that hood is so high is the research that went into airflow and thermal transfer, but holes in a regular hood will still help hot air get out of the engine bay when the car is at a standstill and moving.

anyways, i bet i big chunk of the price has to to with freighting that thing half way around the world. WHY O WHY does japan have to be so far away? :(
