I too am on the quest for the Hybrid kit as well. Ebay currently has one for 1200 Austrailian, which I think is around $650 US, but I am just leary of ordering from Austrailia.

night7racing seems to be the only US place I can find with the kit(all I really need is the piping), but the website/email is down and frankly as a buyer, I shouldn't have to go out of my way to buy something. (I have sent 4 different emails, with one response)

I asked wga240 about his setup and he got them both from EBAY. He did say that he was trying to work with powerdigger.com to become a distributor. (powerdigger.com is also down by the way, and I have been checking every day for 3 weeks to see if it they come back up).

I have pretty much decided to buy a welder, teach myself how to weld and then make my own piping kit. I have spent hours and hours looking for that freaking kit, and I give up.

Good luck with your hunt, and please let me know if you do find a reliable source for the kit.

YEAH I CAN GET THE TRUST KITS OUT OF JAPAN FOR $813 + SHIPPING WHICH IS COMPARABLE.....

I'VE TRIED THE NIGH7 ROUTE BUT FOR OTHER REASONS BACKED OUT. FOR $850+ I BETTER OFF BUYING THE TRUST KIT. EBAY HAD ONE LAST WEEK FOR $650 SHIPPED FROM HONG KONG BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE CHANCE.

I saw that one as well and didn't buy it either. If someone reliable could get these Hybrid kits in the US for $650-800, they would make a fortune selling to all the RB guys here.

This is the best way to go. It may cost a grip for a nice tig welder, but after you learn and start making stuff.. it's all bank if ur good at it and want to sell custom stuff for good prices.

I plan on doing a little of this coming summer when I put my site up.

it is SO MUCH CHEAPER to just get the piping and bends then weld yourself.

hell you dont even need to weld so long as you use silicone connectors and just cut the pipes.

800$ for a kit600$ if you make your own piping.

The hybrid piping kit is $350, the Intercooler is $300, so for $650 you can get the whole thing, if you can find it.

My issue with buying the bends, besides finding a good place to buy them, is that I will have a bunch of connections that could come loose at some point and will be hidden behind the bumper and pain to get too.

By welding everything I will only have 4 connectors to worry about. Just need to learn how to weld now :)

I would gladly buy the Hybrid piping kit for $350 as it looks good, fits well and would be easy to do, but it is like trying to buy a unicorn.

**** you could have the whole thing done for 400 then. i didnt know the hybrids were that cheap

yes its obviously better to weld. but if you use a good silicone hose coupler it wont leak and odds are you wont have a problem for a long time.

I ordered one from the same guy, off ebay though. I got the S14 kit b/c I am using the greddy manifold. It took a while to get shipped out b/c they lost the info. But when they shipped it out it only took 5 days to get here. The kit looks great and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them. The email is [email protected].

THE EBAY SELLER HAS BEEN UNRESONSIVE TO ALL 5 OF MY EMAILS. ITS BEEN 5 DAYS AND I HEAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING FROM THE SELLER. I'M PAID IN FULL SO ITS NOT A NON-PAYMENT..... MY LAST EMAIL I JUST SENT SAID THAT HE NEEDS TO CONTACT ME WITHIN 2 DAYS OR I'M GOING TO STOP PAYMENT AND REPORT HIM TO EBAY SO HOPEFULLY HE WILL GET BACK TO ME. I FOLLOWED ALL HIS RULES AND PAID THE MINUTE I WON SO HE CAN'T SAY I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING HE ASKED OF ME..... I WOULD NOT GO THROUGH THE HASSLE OF PURCHASING FROM THIS GUY EVER AGAIN NO MATTER IF OR IF I DON'T RECIEVE THIS PRODUCT. I'LL PROBABLY HAVE THE PIPING COPIED SO THIS CRAP WONT HAPPEN AGAIN. :(

THIS IS STARTING TO REMIND ME OF SOMETHING ELSE.

That sucks. He has another kit posted, or maybe it is the same one back on Ebay.

Looks like I am back to teaching myself how to weld.

I know how frustrating that feels Project. I'm going through the same thing but it is not that Ebay guy. Atleast you have ebay to back you up and try to get your money back.

It really sucks when you worked hard for your money and someone else plays with it and leaves you hanging.

Just curious, what was his ebay rating? Just like ebay, NICO should have a rating system (that is made a sticky) of all the vendors. Although it is hard to do a search on these vendors, it is really worth it at the end. I notice you even contacted previous buyers. All you can do is try.

Please don't take this as me preaching to you Project, because I know how upset you are. I'm just spreading the "buyer beware" to the rest of the NICO members so they don't become suckered like you and me.

I hope it turns out well for you. Maybe just a misundertanding.

TRUST ME I KNOW ABOUT EBAY.... I'VE HAD PROBLEMS. HE HAS OVER 200 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS AND ONE NEUTRAL BECAUSE OF SLOW SHIPPING. HE HAS A RATING 99.2%. THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T FRET ABOUT IT HE IS EVEN PAYPAL VERIFIED AND EBAY PREFERRED.

I'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT YOUR ISSUES.... HEY DROP ME AN EMAIL REAL QUICK.

WELL I TAKE MY BAD COMMENTS ABOUT THIS GUY BACK!

HE EMAILED ME AND HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE LATE RESPONSE. HE RECIEVED MY MONEY ON SATURDAY.... THEY DON'T SHIP TILL FRIDAYS, HE MADE AN EXCEPTION FOR ME AND SHIPPED IT ON TUESDAY NEXT DAY AIR. IT SHOULD BE HERE BY SATURDAY AT THE LATEST. THIS GUY IS AWESOME..... AND HE DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME EXTRA. I'LL LET YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT I THINK WHEN I ACTUALLY RECIEVE THE PRODUCT.

Haha...last night I was going nuts because there was only one left for auction, so I went ahead and slapped it on the credit card, only to find out today ther are lots more up for sale!! haha

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT

That's mine, and if you DO buy one, don't forget to mention in your payment, a note mentioning the free oil catch tank deal. He gives a very brief mention of it somewhere near the bottom of all the text. For the price, it seems like an amazing deal.!!
