Anyone know where I can get a cheap 2nd or 3rd gen?

Ive always loved the old maxima's and im looking to pick up a car that I can commute with in the winter... FWD is appealing to me, as is increased gas mileage...

Im not looking for a gem, just something mechanically solid...

5 speed would be good but I dont really care, id rather not have to put any money into having the transmission fixed.....

Dont want to spend more than 2 grand..... Thanks guys!

Try the local AutoTraders or ebay for best prices. There seem to be quite a few on ebay in your price range.

FWIW, if you are looking for better gas mileage, you may want to look at a Sentra.
