I spoke to my local dealer here in Edmonton and they had no clue when the 2017.5 Rogue will be available in Canada. Then again they seemed generally clueless. Anyone heard anything about a release date?

2017.5? I wouldn't expect to see a 2018 Rogue until later this fall at the earliest based on the usual release cycle. No reason for .5 versions since they're only in the first year of the 2nd Gen refresh.

Are you privy to some special mid year changes to the Canuck version that us Yanks are unaware of? As colonelcasey said, Nissan just did a refresh of the Rogue for the 2017 model year, and as such there's no new changes/updates that would necessitate a "2017.5".

Ok, well if I didn't know about the 2017.5, then I sure as heck can't tell you when they're shipping to Canada. Here's a novel idea, why not contact Nissan Canada?

Wow, hostile much? Geez. Just asked a simple innocent question, no need to get snarky. Yes, I could partake of your "novel" idea to contact Nissan Canada, but I figured since this is a *discussion* forum, I'd simply ask if anyone knew offhand.

Kinda like you just did?

To canadave, sorry for the cranky reply. If I read your first post correctly, you walked into your local dealership and asked a salesman when the 2017.5 Rogue's were coming out. Personally, I would have bypassed them and asked the sales manager this "I don't see any Midnight Black edition Rogue's on your lot, how soon could you get one in for me?" As the person that usually orders vehicles for the lot, he/she would be able to tell you when they will be available. Oh, and according to Nissan Canada they were supposed to be available last month.

Looking through your "body of work" here, doesn't look like you've ever contributed much.

Don't be disrespectful to the staff, especially when you've contributed nothing of value. This isn't FB, and we're not here to pander to your fragile feelings.

OP, good luck with your quest, apologies for the distraction. Welcome aboard. :)
