anyone know what these are?

i have a 89 240sx with a rebuilt ka24e and it was a auto to manual swap that wasnt done by me. all the sudden my digi speedo and hud come on with no dash lights but when driving still reads 0 so i looked over the speedo wires to the transmission and thought while i was there to ask what the heck this connector and wires go to. the first pic is right across from the starter and the second pic is by the passenger side fuse box.

Those are wires and connectors.

I am not sue but it may help if you read through the transmission swap tutorials and it may explain what those are. At a minimum it will give you a better understanding of what was done. That may help in the future.

pandanpants, i couldnt really tell you unless there is a distinct code or visual difference on the transmission do you know of anyways to tell?

The connector in the 2nd pic is supposed to be unplugged.
