Ok this is the ecu out of my 93 240sx with a redtop sr20det, trying to figure out who has chipped it. i confirmed that it is not a jim wolf unit or a e-mance unit so anyone have any ideas ?

It does say reman on it so that might explain the sticker. As far as what is on the chip, it's hard to say. You'll have to have someone with a chip reader take a look at it and figure it out.

Some japanese company that either re-maned fryed ECU's for Nissan and/or had factory ok to modify stock ECU's (and then installed a re-maned sticker for legal/emission purposes?) I don't know, but those are my guesses.

The ECU that came with my redtop swap looks exactly like yours...I have a stock ecu and the chipped one...When i put in the chipped one the car feels like a totally different car...Way, way faster with the chipped one in..But for some reason i have to put in the EGI fuse for the car to start..Also if i leave the fuse in over night my battery will be dead.. on the stock ecu it doesnt need the egi fuse nor will it die..Never got around to figuring this problem out..O yea my chipped ecu has a speed cut in it...My stock one doesnt..

So i never use my chipped ecu cause of the speed cut and my battery dying..

Definitely not a nistune board. If you want to take it out you have to move a board component from cj2 back to cj1. If you want to send it to me I can read the chips and try to figure out what it is set up for.
