I asked him if he wanted it anymore since he sold his bike but he said he has no use for it and I could either sell it or trash it. I looked online and was blown away by what I found: the exhaust in question is titanium and retails brand-new for $1,300+!
This makes me happy because that money could be put to good use on any of my cars... I just need to find someone with an R6 to sell it to :P I put it up on craigslist and looked at the r6 boards but their requirements mean I won't be able to sell it anytime soon so I'm leaving that alone and going another route.
If anyone knows someone with an R6 or an account on an R6 or motorcycle forum that can help me get this sold, let me know ASAP!
