I know the solid hood was meant for aero. purposes but I don't really care for the look. Can a newer model hood with the grill be fit? I was thinking of maybe just finding a metal worker to make some alterations. I've put so much money into cosmetics(junction produce copy kit, paint, wheels...) that I just want to be FULLY satisfied, you know??? Thanks guys...NICO always comes through...

Yes, you can bolt on a '94+ front end but you need everything.. including all lights, bumper, fenders and hood.

It might be cheaper to get the IMPUL grille.

do you guys have any cost estimates on this sort of thing (or links?)

The only thing I really dislike about the 90q is that darn ugly hood, the ridges just come too close togather to look nice

I thought Greg said all mounting points were different?

Cheaper just to get a 1994+.

The post is on a yahoo forum, which of course nobody linked to and really cant be found without at least a couple days of hard looking. The cost is apparently ~2,000 to get somebody else to put it togather, and the parts dont line up correctly (the trim). jesuscruz, im not sure if its less expensive to pay the 2k or pay somebody to do something custom to a hood (metal working idea, sounds allright i guess)

Well, remember the hood is designed to bend in a certain place during a head on collision. Why they bend upon closing when hinges get rusty from no lubrication.
