I have to doubt that this would be practical or easy, unfortunately!

You might want to PM elwesso ... he put a manual transmission into his old Q45, as I recall, and may have some advice about where to start with this.

It might be easier to get a 2004 Y34 that will hold the gear instead of shift for you ....as it approaches redline. The 2004 rev limiter is the only thing keepin you from winding the rpm needle past 7G. (That could probably ony be done once anyway before it self destructed.)

Fore a manual....you'd have to cut in a clutch, hydraulic lines, master cylinder, reconfigure the output shaft and probably the CANBUS system to make this work if there were a trans that could handle it. I don't think it would be worth it to find out if it works.

Hell it might be easier to get a 2004 trans control module that will let you hold a gear and hopefully it will work.

Still easier to look for a 2004 model & just unload yours.

Adapter plates for the VH45 will bolt directly to VK45.

www.swap1uz.com sells an adapter plate that features patterns for - KA, Z32, z33 and z34 transmissions. I am currently running one on my VH45 w/ a z34 6spd and its an awesome piece.

Z32 or Z33/Z34 (with the right bellhousing)
