so im not wanting to do the typical that everyone else is going and spending 4-700$ on a already made exhaust.. im wanting to go with something like a magnaflow with a 2.25" custom piping from the cat back.. i know a shop by where i live that has done jobs for me for about 125$ when i provide the muffler.. so im think id like to do something of that route..
and yes im being too lazy to get under and measure my stock muffler but anyone know off hand whats the length of the stock muffler? i found a aftermarket muffler with offset inlet and outlet's thats 12" and one thats 14" long.. anyone else gone this route or have measured or can measure the stock muffler for me??
thanks
joe

So you want someone else to do the measuring so you can save a few Benjamins on a catback exhaust? I call shenanigans on that.

There are some bends in the pipe between the cat and the rear of the car that need to be taken into account so you're better off buying from someone who's already done the measuring. AZHitman has a catback system that bolts on perfectly: if you're not willing to do the work yourself, why not pay someone else for their time?

since you cant seem to read correctly jack.. im asking for a measurement on a muffler not the whole cat back.. and ya im not gonna spend 4-600$ on a muffler and piping.. i want my own sound not someone else's.. i know theres bends in the exhaust.. the shop i go to are badass and will do it right and great.. so im not worried about that.. im just wanting to make sure theres the right amount of space before the rear lower control arm and the bumper.. sheesh didnt know i had to buy from members to get some simple help around here. i thought thats what the forums are for.. to help each other.. clearly i was wrong for thinking that.
