Anyone know JDM production esp for the Kouki?

I have a 1998 SE, only about 2k of them were made...however I heard there were alot more made over seas with the JDM style bumpers, etc.

Also what is the reason for the stock front and rear bumper not to make it stateside, aren't they the same behind the cover?

I'd guess one of 2 things:1) Safety2) Style

The 240sx was targeted for very different audiences here than the Silvia in Japan. Just look at the engine

Ya, and i think the JDM bumper was more suited to get air to the IC.
