Anyone know if the 91 Q radiator fan blade is interchangable with 90 300zx?

It seems that car-part.com seems to think so. My Infiniti dealer wants $110 for it while Nissan wants $65. They're both 7 blade. Mine is cracked as well as the one on my parts car. Infiniti says they're a popular item. Mine flexes and hits the shroud and belt cover. Thanks.

Wow... that must be REALLY cracked! I wouldn't run it until you get it fixed. I've heard of them flying apart and rupturing the radiator. Check with Joe at 1-888-216-5328, he should be able to let you know if they're interchangable and get you the best deal in any case.

Joe's prices are:

Q45 Blade - $70.28

300ZX fan Blade - $49.25

I'd say there's a definate difference.

When it warms up, it has a good 3/4" of deflection. I'm now pretty sure the 4 blade ones are interchangable, but I don't know about the 7 blade. So I guess I'll just get the Infiniti one from Joe. Better to be sure than try to save a few bucks. Thanks.
