Hi all,
I just switched my winter steelies to the Nissan standard OEM tires and rims. It has been over a week and the tpms light is still on even though the tire pressure is correct. Nissan wants to charge 40 bucks to reprogram them unless it is corroded. It will be covered under warranty if it is corroded.

Is there any way that I can reset them myself.

thx

Nope.

The TPMS sensors require 15 min of uninterrupted driving and a speed of at least 25mph for the first 3 min to 'wake-up' and register in the computer. Sometimes you just need to drive longer. Also set your tire pressure a bit higher... at least 35psi. Give it a go and see what happens.

I have been doing the winter => summer tire swap for 3 years now. The TPMS light always resets in a day or two of normal driving.
