With my foeb in my pocket, I am constantly opening trunk or hitting panic button inadvertantly. Is there any way to disable these functions?

thanks

Welcome!Theres some keyfob covers on ebay that make it harder for them to be pushed.

For some reason theres no altima ones i found just now...

Id be more concerned about the doors being unlocked!

Well you can disable the trunk by locking it with the button in the glove box, however then you won't be able to open your trunk at all unless you unlock it every time you want it open.

I was always setting off my panic alarm also, so I just took apart the key fob and removed the inner part of the button.

For the trunk I believe you can turn it off with the switch in your glove box.

I bought two of these: http://myg37.com/forums/suppor....html

They work pretty well and look nicer than the rubber ones.
