hm. kinda more like an idiot-proof guide hahaha.

since there was red and blue, i'll post up amber. actually smartypants brad, the digital cluster hold 6 194's. (unless u were speaking of something else.) these are sylvania pure amber bulbs, which came out a bit darker in color in the picture, but in real life, they look like a mix between G35/BMW gauges. the clock is a red LED which came out purple/pink in the picture for some reason.

hey brad i tore out my cloth inserts! there were a few small holes for some reason, but it still looks good! ... i'm actually contemplating tearing out the passenger leather insert ... just to match, LOL. time will tell.

I would advise against the UV ones. I had some previously and it killed my eyes. I'm contemplating replacing the blue ones I have now with either white LED's or amber LED's, used to have an Audi as a daily driver and it had amber gauge lights and they are nice on the eyes and look good.

The LED posted is the correct type to get. I ordered 4, the cluster only uses three but I ordered one just in case, and it only cost me like $11.00 or so with shipping to my door.

Hm, I thought that there were only 4 red-socketed bulbs (as opposed to the two brown ones used for warning lights) but you're probably right. I mean, it IS your cluster... LOL.

Awesome. Yeah, I have those same little holes. I'm not entirely sure why they are there, but no big deal. If you're up for it, I think you can use a vinyl repair kit to clean them up. I'll be trying that probably next week. (After my freakin' exhaust arrives! Geez! LOL)

Oh yeah, that's because there's a blue display filter on the clock. If you pulled that mother out and replced it with some plain white plastic, you'd get a better red.

well, there are 6 of the red socketed ones, and a million various sized browns ones. you may have thought 4 because there are 4 in the tach area, then on the other side of the digital speedometer, there are the other 2 ... kinda hidden.

are you talking about that blue plastic filter that's wrapped around every one of those stock 194 bulbs? no right? but in any case, it only came out that color in the picture ... during the day and night, it's pure red.

exhaust! where art thou??? c'mon brown .. get on it ... 5 days? please. DHL can do a better job.

Sorry, this is kind off topic, but what is the name of the bulbs that illuminate the rear license plate? One of mine went out, and I can't find them anywhere. Since I'll be ordering bulbs for the cluster, I was thinking of ordering the license plate bulbs as well. I found the Ba15 bulbs online, which look similar, is that it?

You know what bulbs I want to know a part number on? The HVAC illumation bulbs! NO ONE KNOWS what bulb to replace them with (except the dealer, who charges 6 buck per bulb.)

A little more off topic - anyone know how to color the bulbs with a custom coating? I want to change the HVAC illumation to red, but, aside from not finding replacement bulbs, I have no idea how to colorize them... any ideas? Chuck?

and the peanut size bulbs, like the ones on your climate control bulbs are different. since they are smaller and nowhere have i found LEDs in those sizes. sp you'll need to solder and do all this other crap if you want to change those. too much of a hassle.

The HVAC illumination ur talkin about are all those small icons that deal with the ac/heater junk right? does the HVAC use the "mini" 194 bulbs? anyways, to colorize them urself, juss take a trip to ur local hobby people and they have a big selection of high quality model paint like testors and tamiya ... look around, then just apply a light coat.
