In trying to solve my lack of power problem, in the Mode 1 test, I am getting a steady green and red led. Which means I am open loop mode, which I think may be why I have no power. I have tested it both hot & cold and still the same......

Does anyone know what it should be cold or hot? At what point is it supposed to go into closed loop operation ?

The book says it should blink green only when in closed loop, so does green and red staying on mean I have a problem, and if so what (or where do I look)

from what i understand...

OPEN LOOP

Definition: A mode of operation in a computerized engine management system that occurs after a cold start. During open loop, the computer provides a fixed air/fuel ratio that is richer than normal to improve cold driveability until the engine warms up.

Even though the 02 and temp sensors tested o.k., I changed them anywayThis solved the problem and allowed closed loop operation, then mode 2 said I was running rich, so i pulled out the POS venom injectors, put in the old ones, and it cleared too.

But, I still have no power under load, I'm going to continue to test out each of the sensors now that the computer is working (if thats what you call it)

Anyone ever swapped ecu's and had it work, even if the original reads o.k.?
