well not many people know i am attempting to do a right hand drive conversion on my 98 kouki. i already have the essential parts (firewall, steering rack, dash, ect.) but i need other stuff such as center consul, sun visors, window switch's, wiring harness, ect. so i actually found a guy in the uk that has all the parts i need and he will get rid of them for a decent price. but when i went to get a shipping quote, they wanted to charge me over $4000 and there is no way i could ever afford to do that.

so what i want to know is if anyone is stationed over there and want to send me some parts through the military... lol or if anyone knows a good shipping company. any help is appreciated.

ps im trying to do this as authentic as you can for a conversion lol

just please make sure you do it right...

make sure it's someone that's done it before... because it can ruin the whole car...

and when you're finished... PICTURES!

well no i have not done it before. but i do not pay for any work done on my car other than machine work. i am a certified welder, i have worked in an autobody shop, welding shop, and auto shop. i have a lot of skill for being only 22. i have no worries about it and i can assure you it will look factory minus the ka-t under the hood. haha at this very moment i am replacing the core support from the strut towers forward. i have never done that before but again i have no fear. and i am taking plenty of pics along the way with a decent camera.

anyone else have ideas on over sea shipping or company's. i have already tried fed ex. i want to try a boat ship but dont know any company's

Maybe contact some of the companys that import engines and other jdm crap. See if they can include your stuff in one of their containers for a fee? Just and idea.

ya that might work. its worth a shot i guess. sounds kinda hair ball. also i dont know if it will because the front clips and engines they import are from japan. for some reason they dont get them from europe. and i want a dash that only came in europe i think.

i really want a rhd dash that has a pass airbag. and as far as i know they were only found in a touring model over there.
