I know Top Secret uses a VK45, but the VH seems the way to go as far as swaps and turbocharging go. We're currently fabricating a similar intake for our 1UZ:

Would anyone be interested in a similar manifold for their forced induction set-up?

What are the advantages from this type of manifold?

Shorter runners and greater plenum volume for better top end on a forced induction set-up. Each turbo (on twin turbo set-up) has its own throttle body....no need to run 2 intercooler pipes to one TB (keeps air speed up, less drop in psi) and of course the exclusivity of it.

The VH45DEtt in the Z guy... ?? WELCOME TO NICO!!!!!

Do you think we would see any benefits on a N/A car? This certainly could be a consideration for others that are attempting kickass swaps like this!

Stock manifold is tuned for OEM cam timings and BMEP. Changing without a decrease in performance would require a complementary change in cams, induction, pistons.

Top end is great, but few everyday drivers live there very much.

I'll agree with you there, for most driver this would not be a "practical" modification.

This is more for those who want to have something new and different, yet is still functional. Just trying to help out in the nissan/infiniti community with some custom parts otherwise not attainable.

I wonder if 450tt has seen these manifolds and what does he think about them.

What about custom headers? Just asking as allot of us wouldn't mind some increase in HP with some custom headers for the Q. Again, just asking.
