The AVIC Z1 is this beautiful double-din nav deck by Pioneer. I want to put something like this in the Q... just wating to confirm that it has bluetooth capability.

Not a Z1 but I installed a D1 on my '97 last Christmas. I assume that your sound system isn't stock anymore before you put it in. The Z1 no doubt will be a bad a*s unit with a hard drive and Bluetooth capability.

I had heard the eclipse would plug right in and work with the Bose speakers...I almost implused on in a year ago, I just settled for a portable Magellan for now, I want one of those but cannot bring myself to spend over 1.5k on it.

jp, i installed it in my 95. i'm not sure if your going to do it or if you'll have an installer do it. things to watch out for are make sure you have a good line level adapter (if you're using factory speakers); make sure the mic is mounted within clear sight of your mouth (steering wheel not blocking); the bluetooth adapter and/or ipod adapter should be able to mount behind your center console;

tape or wiretie those wires before final install. oh and don't use crimp caps, solder that ****!
